Biniyamol Lyju

Biniyamol Lyju is a Mental Health Professional at Shalom Institute of Mental Health and Research (SIMHAR), with a strong academic foundation and diverse field experience. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatry from Madras Christian College, University of Madras, and completed Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Marian College, Kuttikkanam.

She completed her master’s thesis on “Influence of Technological Advancements on Parenting Attitudes and Child Rearing Practices among Parents Working in the IT Sector”, and presented it at the INPSWA International Social Work Conference 2024. With excellent organizational skills, cultural competence, and a client-centered approach, Biniyamol contributes meaningfully to SIMHAR’s mission of holistic mental health care.
