Beena P Kuriakose is a committed counsellor at Shalom Institute of Mental Health and Research (SIMHAR), where she has been serving since November 2024. With a strong academic foundation and diverse professional experience, she brings both compassion and expertise to her role in supporting individuals facing emotional and psychological challengesMs. Kuriakose holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in June 2014, demonstrating her academic excellence in the field of social work and higher education.
Her professional journey includes serving as a Social Worker and Counsellor at Chaitanya Institute of Mental Health, Pune, from April 2015 to June 2016. Following this, she worked as an Assistant Professor at BCM College, Kottayam, from July 2016 to May 2019, where she was actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in the field of social work.
At SIMHAR, Ms. Kuriakose continues to apply her academic knowledge and field experience to provide empathetic, client-centered care. Her commitment to mental health, social welfare, and holistic wellbeing makes her a valuable part of the SIMHAR team.
