Manya Madhavan is a Mental Health Professional at the Shalom Institute of Mental Health and Research (SIMHAR). She holds an MSW in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work from Vimala College, Thrissur (University of Calicut), and a Master’s degree in History from Mahatma Gandhi University.
Her academic and professional involvement includes presenting a paper on student perspectives during COVID-19, participation in community and social initiatives such as the State Transgender Fest and the Indian Swachhata League, and active engagement with the National Service Scheme. She has also completed certification programs in Gandhian Thought and Museology and is a member of the Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KPAS).
Her commitment to ethical mental health practice, child protection, and holistic well-being makes her a valuable part of the SIMHAR team.
